A colour-loving Sydney family has used Vicinity Greenwall to soften the minimal lines of their Paddington terrace courtyard. The Landsberg team creatively ushered in a splash of colour and nature to the space which was dominated by strong steel features and a pool. Instantly lush from the moment it was installed, the vertical garden now draws the eye from inside, bringing the outdoors in and enlivening the family home.

Using the Vicinity Greenwall system also solved a number of logistical challenges presented by the small space. Limited floor area was best retained as a play space for the couples young children, and for much-needed side seating. A vertical garden was the logical choice over pots and planters. To maximise useable space and eliminate the need for pool fencing, the Landsberg team constructed a stylish metal cover that meant the pool could be effectively hidden away. The greenwalls height was expertly positioned to clear the opening arc of the new pool cover.

Much to the clients delight, Landsberg Garden Design has enhanced both the functionality and aesthetic of the outdoor area. The completed Vicinity Greenwall has exceeded their expectations and is a unique garden theyll enjoy for a long time to come.

Principal designer, Barbara Landsberg, says, Vicinity Greenwall really deserves to be applauded because the whole process is very easy. We were able to show the client that this is a system thats essentially self managing. They didnt have a picture of how beautiful it was going to be, so they are thrilled with the result. The technology is great. Its so straightforward. If youve got power and water supplies, youre good to go!
